Several shapes and layers
A document holds as many paths, areas, circles and rectangles as you like. They are listed in the panel under Layers, front to back, each with its colour and its main figures.
- Select a shape by tapping it on the map or in the list. Next Shape and Previous Shape (⌥⌘] and ⌥⌘[ on the Mac) step through them.
- Show or hide a shape with the eye in the list (Shape ▸ Hide Layer, ⌃⌘H on the Mac). Hidden shapes are not drawn, not printed and not exported.
- Reorder by dragging in the list, or with Arrange in the shape’s menu (Shape ▸ Arrange on the Mac): Bring to Front ⇧⌘F, Bring Forward ⌥⇧⌘F, Send Backward ⌥⇧⌘B, Send to Back ⇧⌘B.
- Rename a shape from its menu (Edit ▸ Rename Shape…, ⌥⌘R on the Mac), and change its colour from the dot beside its name. Rename the document with Edit ▸ Rename Document… on the Mac, or Rename… in the More menu.
- Delete a shape from its menu (⌥⌘⌫ on the Mac), or everything with Clear All….
On the Mac, Shape Labels in the View menu writes each shape’s name and figure on the map.
